Blockgeeks Monthly Update: May 2019

May has been busy for both the Blockgeeks team and crypto space!

After months of being stuck in a bear market, we watched Bitcoin prices surge to over $9000… Though short lived, this milestone marks a 12 month high and has sparked some speculation that it may be on the up and up.

Headlines this month were brimming with examples of big name brands leading the way to mainstream blockchain adoption! Samsung made waves with their moves to incorporate cryptocurrencies into Samsung Pay, add blockchain to its Enterprise IT offerings and even designing and manufacturing 3nm and 5nm chips for Bitcoin mining. Another win was the announcement that several universities in Singapore would be issuing their graduate certificates using blockchain technology.
