In the Travel Industry, there are a big number of Middle Man as Travel Agencies, both Online and Physical. This covers transaction fees, connectivity issues, inventory availability.

Fraud is a big issue, mostly because payments online are very easy to be fraudulent with no immediate verification of identity and payment method -such as ID with the credit card to verify it is not stolen-.

Identity is required in almost every step of the Travel Experience, from taking the airplane, to pick up the luggage, to check-in in the hotel.
