I want to start buying multiple cryptocurrencies. What’s the easiest way to do this?

I’m new to fintech and fascinated by it. I’d like to invest (an entirely token amount purely for research purposes) across a number of cryptocurrencies. Where do I start?

If you want access to many different cryptos Poloniex and Bittrex are good with decent liquidity. You would have to first purchase some BTC or ETH on a site like Coinbase, and then move the funds to one of these exchanges to purchase different cryptos. The problem arises with where to store different cryptos as it is not the safest to keep them on exchanges. Openledger is a decentralized exchange that can store a decent variety of crypto more safely. The other option is to download wallets for each crypto, store them on your computer, or offline in “cold storage” such as a USB stick. I suggest researching Poloniex, Bittrex, Openledger, and Coinbase. Also, if you are getting into this stuff you should educate yourself on security precautions such as random generated passwords of at least 16 characters, 2 Factor-Authentification, and cold storage. Also, to help prevent being hacked it is good to use safe practices with wifi, email, what you download, click on, etc. Educate yourself!!!
