$1,000,000 in Prizes: Klaytn Horizon BApp Competition

Klaytyn is hosting their very first BApp (Blockchain Application) competition, Klaytn Horizon.

Klaytn Horizon: The Contest

Work with a team or on your own to create an innovative new BApp on Klaytn! Your blockchain application can relate to the industry of your choice including: contents, entertainment, healthcare, finance, commerce, payment, lifestyle, technology, and there is no limit to the number of members you can have in your team.

This isn’t just any BApp contest! A joint effort to streamline mainstream blockchain adoption and backed by Kakao, Klaytn aims at leveraging the significant traffic of Kakao’s existing 50 million active users for BApps built and operated on Klaytn.

Klaytn Horizon: The Prize

With a prize pool of USD 1,000,000, which will be awarded in Klaytn’s token, KLAY, a total of 15 teams, in 4 different tiers, will be selected.

Tier 1 (the first five teams) : $100,000 each
Tier 2 (the second five teams) : $50,000 each
Tier 3 (the third five teams) : $30,000 each

• Number of Active Users – 20%
• Number of Daily Transactions – 20%
• Creativity – 10%
• Product Operation – 10%
• Virality (number of likes on social media feed) – 10%
