Blockgeeks provides education and new career paths in the Blockchain space for thousands to acquire new skills they need for the jobs they want. Blockgeeks scholarships make this opportunity more available for learners all around the globe.

Who should apply

We want to work with students that align with the Blockgeeks mission and provide support for those with disabilities, economic hardships, underrepresented populations and veterans. We’ll also work with businesses, government organizations, or individuals that want to nominate a nonprofit and sponsor them.

    15 years old
    A born engineer, Shane built every model of paper airplane that could be found on the internet at the age of seven, and in fact, that was his first internet project. His lego building skills are a bit of a legend locally, and Shane has competed in First Lego League competitions, Maine Robotic Track Meets, and Machias 4-H Robotics Expos for five years. He's been a programming mentor for 3 years at Mega Builders 4-H Robotics Club. After attending summer camps ranging from Minecraft Coding, to NXT Programming, to Build Your Own Computer Camp, all through Maine Robotics, Shane is now a summer Camp Counselor for that same organization. A Maine native and high schooler at Maine Virtual Academy, Shane also enjoys video games and classical music.
