Art Tokenization

Hi
Can anyone explain or point me to a resource on how to tokenize digital and physical art work?

I saw that a number of artists are selling their art on Ethereum marketplaces such as Opensea.

I found information on use cases but nothing on the actual process.

Is there a simple platform artists can use or are they hiring someone to code a smart contract?
