Gas Prices vs Token Swapping
Hey there again,
I was interested in looking at doing some token swapping with uniSwap. Dipping my toe with a small amount, I was offput by the gas price. My question is simply, for toekn swaps on exchanges like uniSwap, is the gas price of the swap related in any way to the amount you are swapping or is the amount static and related more to the complexity / speed of the task?
To put things another way, would the gas price of a swap be the same for both 1Eth and 100Eth?

It’s usually calculated as a percentage so it would differ based on the amount you are attempting to swap. Have you checked out Uniswap whitepaper? They have detailed how the gas mechanism works.
